Every price is a probability in disguise. Convert American, decimal, or fractional odds to a win percentage, or start from a percentage and see the price.
Any betting price, in any format, is just a probability written a different way. American odds, decimal odds, and fractional (UK) odds all describe the same underlying payout, and every payout implies a break-even win rate. This calculator does the conversion instantly in both directions.
Worked example: a -150 favorite implies 150 / (150 + 100) = 60.0% win probability. A +130 underdog on the other side of that same game implies 100 / (130 + 100) = 43.5%. Add the two together and you get 103.5%, not 100%. The extra 3.5% is the book’s vig. To strip that out and get the fair probability on each side, use the no-vig calculator.
NoPunt publishes a win probability for every game before kickoff, built from the model rather than a sportsbook price. See this week’s picks and compare the model’s number against the implied probability here, or read how that gap becomes expected value.
