All metrics derived from nfl_data_py play-by-play data. Pass rate and shotgun rate are computed from scrimmage plays only (excluding penalties, special teams). 4th down go rate measures go-for-it decisions as a fraction of all 4th down decisions (go + punt + FG attempt). Red zone TD rate is computed per unique drive reaching inside the 20. Tempo is measured in seconds per play using drive time of possession. EPA splits compare first-half and second-half efficiency to measure halftime adjustments.
